- Parents are Mark and Irene Reichner
- Married to Chanell Rose, who was a member of the BYU women's basketball team (2000-2003) and is the daughter of BYU head coach Dave Rose
- Has one daughter
- Youngest of three brothers and two sisters
- Brother David played at Utah and was an assistant coach at San Jose State
- Served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Portugal Lisbon South mission from October 2000 to December 2002

- Leading free-throw shooter in SWAC at 89 percent

- Averaged 10.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists

- Reichner earned all-league and first-team all-state honors as a senior
- Named John Wooden Player of the Month
