Career Summary
After redshirting her first season, Alexa Strid became a four-year starter for the Cougars and helped them win the conference title and advance to NCAA Regionals each of those seasons. She began her BYU career at shortstop as a freshman, spent sophomore year in the outfield and moved back to shortstop as a junior and senior. An All-West Coast Conference First Team selection in 2016 and 2017, she was also named to the All-WCC Second Team in 2018. A team captain her senior year, Strid finished the season ranked No. 3 in on-base percentage (.491) among all seniors in program history.
