Career Highlights
Known to her teammates as “O,” Olivia Sanchez spent time as both a pitcher and a first baseman. She has played in 92 games at BYU. During her freshman year as a pitcher, she tallied shutouts against Creighton and Boise State and threw her career-high six strikeouts against Harvard and Texas. In 2018, she hit her first career home run, going a perfect 3 for 3 with two RBI against Santa Clara. The 5-foot-7 native of Murrieta, California, hit a grand slam during her senior season against UTEP as well as a solo homer going 3 for 4 at the plate with two runs and a career-high six RBI in the game. She also hit homers against UTSA while going 2 for 3 at the plate with two RBI and Utah Valley.

- Has a 1.58 ERA and a 24-11 record prior to her last season in high school
- At the plate in 2014 she added 28 RBI while hitting .360 with six doubles, a triple and eight home runs
- High school team was back-to-back league champions in 2013 and 2014 while she earned offensive player of the year in 2013 and all-league first-team honors in 2012 and 2014
- Was 2012 rookie of the year and on the Michelle Carew All-Tournament Team in 2013
- Played travel ball with the Firecrackers when they were ranked No. 3 in the nation
