Women's Basketball Coaching Career

Associate Head Coach (2022-Present)

  • Back-to-back postseason appearances (WBIT - 2024 and WNIT - 2023)
  • Coached BYU's all-time leading rebounder and two-time All-America Honorable Mention, Lauren Gustin
  • Helped the Cougars to the first ranked win of the Whiting era over No. 18 Baylor on Feb. 7, 2024.

Assistant Coach (2019-2022)

  • Back-to-back NCAA Tournament bids (2020-21, 2021-22)
  • Was acting head coach and went 3-0  with wins over Utah State, No. 17 Florida State and No. 22 West Virginia
  • Won the West Coast Conference regular-season championship in 2021-22
  • No. 20 final AP Top 25 ranking (2021-22)
  • Spent 16 consecutive weeks in AP Top 25 – most in school history (2021-22)
  • Most wins in the regular season (25) in program history (2021-22)
  • Five wins against Power 5 opponents (Arizona State, Florida State, West Virginia, Utah, Washington State - 2021-22)
  • Twelve players garnered All-Conference Honors

  • BYU Men's Basketball Assistant Coach (2018-19)
    • Helped the Cougars to a 20-13 season, going 10-5 in conference play
    • Coached two all-conference honorees; Yoeli Childs and TJ Haws who were named to the first and second teams, respectively
  • BYU Men's Basketball Graduate Assistant (2016-2018)
    • In two years as a graduate assistant, helped the Cougars to back-to-back 20-win seasons
    • Coached five all-conference selections including TJ Haws, Eric Mika, Elijah Bryant and Yoeli Childs
    • Made a pair of trips to the NIT
