Before BYU
- Prepped at Mater Dei High School
- Named USA Today First-Team All-American, one of just four wide receivers
- In 2019, named OC Register Wide Receiver of the Year and Max Preps First-Team All-American
- Set Mater Dei records with 93 receptions, 1,735 yards and 28 touchdowns as a senior
- Helped Mater Dei to a 12-1 record in 2019 and trip to the state title game
- Posted a two-game playoff stretch with 21 receptions, 507 yards and 10 touchdowns
- A two-time state champion as well as a three-time Trinity League Champions
- Received the Tia O'hara Award
