PROVO, Utah — BYU women’s golf is prepared to tee off at the Betsy Rawls Invitational in Austin, Texas at UT Golf Club March 16-17.

Last time out, the Cougars finished off the Lady Luck Invitational in 12th on March 2-3. Maria Jose “MJ” Barragan tied for 15th to lead the team in that tournament. 

BYU will be part of a 16-team field in the event. Host Texas, Troy, UTSA, Oklahoma, LSU, Boise State, TCU, Arkansas, Harvard, Chattanooga, Pepperdine, Sam Houston, Incarnate Word, Houston Christian and Oregon State will compete against BYU on the 6,473-yard course.

BYU’s lineup consists of seniors Lily McCauley and Berlin Long, juniors Whitney Banz and Barragan and sophomore Kanyanol (Naji) Aramkul. Long will be making her first start of the spring season.
