- Team won State 4A title in 2011 and won state title two other years
- Prepped at Spanish Fork High where he was coached by Jim "Shoe" Nelson
- Two-time all-region in 2010 and 2011
- Batted .418, eight doubles, five triples, three home runs and 33 RBI.
