- Colorado’s leading rusher in 2022 with 83 carries, 393 yards and two touchdowns
- Notched a career-high 11 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries against Arizona State in 2022
- Colorado’s third-leading rusher in 2021 with 208 yards, playing all 12 games
- Smith missed the 2020 season, but played in all 12 games in 2019 after redshirting in 2018. While playing mostly on special teams, Smith added 23 carries and 68 yards with four receptions for 28 yards
- Prepped at Second Baptist High School in Houston where he was ranked No. 52 among running backs nationally by ESPN
- Ran for 783 yards over just five games as a senior after racking up 1,223 yards on the ground as a junior
- Also a track athlete, finishing first in his district in the 100-meter dash and second in the state with a top time of 10.64 in addition to competing in the high jump
