In 2001:
- Earned Academic All-MWC honors
- Competed in 12 of the Cougars' 14 games
- Credited with five receptions on the season for 79 yards, averaging 15.8 yards per reception
- Scored three touchdowns on the season, including TDs against Tulane, San Diego State and Colorado State
- Turned in a season-high performance against Air Force, racking up 33 yards on two receptions
- Credited with a season-long 29-yard touchdown reception in the Cougars 56-34 win over Colorado State.

- Saw action in eight games as a sophomore
- Recorded five receptions for 50 yards on the season, including a career-high 21 yards against New Mexico
