- Prepped at Moanalua High School
- Served as a team captain for two seasons
- Posted 61 receptions for 837 yards and eight touchdowns at Moanalua HS
- Earned all-state honorable mention and team MVP
- Three-time academic all-region selection
- Scholar athlete award winner from eighth grade to 12th grafde
- Also recruited by University of San Diego, Portland State, Southern Utah, University of Saint Thomas, Hawaii, Valporiso and Wagner
