Career Summary
Ronney Jenkins came to BYU from Hueneme High School after setting a national record of 619 yards and seven touchdowns in a single game. He rushed for 2,168 yards and 27 touchdowns his senior year of high school and went on to rush for 733 yards and 11 touchdowns at BYU as a freshman. Jenkins also caught 14 passes for three touchdowns that year. He earned Western Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year and Rookie of the Year by the BYU coaching staff.
