Parents are Paul and Cathleen... older brother, Matt, played at BYU... uncle, Steve, played for BYU from 1982-83... served an LDS Church mission to Spokane, Wash.... recruited by California, Pennsylvania, Idaho State and Utah State.
At BYU
In 2002: Expected to play a role in the BYU offense as a sophomore... credited with 10 carries for a team-high 75 yards in the Blue/White scrimmage.
In 2001: Squadman.
In 2000: Participated in spring drills...Redshirted.
Before BYU
A three-year letterwinner in football and lettered once in basketball, baseball and track at Orem High School... 1996 USA Today honorable mention All-American... all-state fullback as a senior.
