Parents are Greg and Brenda ... one of four children ... served an LDS Church mission in Geneva, Switzerland ... an Eagle Scout ... a former BYU gymnast (lettered as true freshman) ... a performer at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games for both the opening and closing ceremonies ... was selected to work during the Olympic Games as "Cooper the Coyote" -- one of the official Olympic Mascots ... all totaled, worked over 200 hours during the Olympic games ... served a nine-week internship for the U.S. Embassy in Santiago, Chile during the summer of 2001 ... majoring in international politics and French.
