David Oswald came to BYU from Brighton High School in Utah. He played in a total of 47 games with 29 starts at right tackle. Oswald helped provide protection for a passing offense that led BYU to a No. 2 national ranking in passing efficiency in 2006. As a senior, he helped the Cougars rank No. 16 in the nation in total offense and average only 1.54 sacks a game.
