Career Summary
Michael Alisa came to BYU after helping Timpview High School claim consecutive state championships in 2006 and 2007. He lettered four years and saw action in 47 games as a Cougar. Alisa recorded 46 total tackles and 33 solo tackles during his career after switching to defense his senior year. As a sophomore, Alisa was the second-leading rusher with 85 carries, 455 yards and three touchdowns. He was nominated for two national awards before back-to-back seasons with injuries. As a senior he was credited with four tackles, a forced fumble and an interception during the Cougars' victory over Texas. - Earned Deseret Morning News 4A Second-Team All-State honors
- Earned All-Utah Valley honors
- Helped lead Timpview to a 13-0 record on the season to claim the Utah 4-A State Championships, including a 50-7 victory over Pine View in the championship game
- A member of the 2006 Utah 4-A State Championship team
- Credited with four interceptions and three sacks
- Scored six touchdowns as a running back for the T-birds
- Also played two years of high school at Kahuku High School in Hawai'i
- Recruited by Boise State, California, Oklahoma, UNLV, Utah and Washington State
