• Older brother Terence plays offensive line for the Cougars

Before BYU

• Played receiver, cornerback and quarterback in high school
• Played under legendary coach John McKissick at Summerville High School in South Carolina before moving to Utah
• Had 17 catches for 390 yards during his senior season at Lone Peak
• Named all-region as a senior
• Also ran track, running 100 meters in 10.8 seconds
• Recruited by Georgia Tech, Clemson, University of South Carolina and University of North Carolina
