- Led the San Mateo Bulldogs with 72 tackles, 13 pass breakups and two interceptions in 2009
- Helped San Mateo win the Northern California championship and finish runners-up in the California Community College state championship
- Known for his combination of strength and speed, enabling him to play either cornerback or safety
