Before BYU

• Played in 2009 state championship
• Starting quarterback for three years
• Named to All-Region Team and set several school records
• Also lettered three times in track and field while competing in high jump, 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles
• Recruited by Utah, Cal, Washington State, Weber State and Southern Utah
• Coached by Ryan Bishop at Davis High School

• Majoring in broadcast journalism
• Grandfather, father and two brothers played football at BYU and sister is a Cougarette
• Parents are Blaine and Brenda Fowler
