- A two-time first-team All-State honoree
- Led Bountiful with 117 tackles and 4.5 sacks in 2012
- Had 122 tackles as a junior to go along with 2.5 sacks and two interceptions
- Posted 63 tackles and an interception as a sophomore
- Led Bountiful to 25 wins in three years
- Also recruited by Utah, Utah State and Arizona
