• Three-star recruit by ESPN.com
• Helped team to an 8-4 overall and 5-2 district record on the way to the second round of the Conference 5A Division 2 playoffs
• As a sophomore, started entire season on varsity at offensive left tackle–was the only starting sophomore on varsity that season
• As a junior, started at offensive right guard, left tackle and was the team’s deep snapper
• Selected to the 2013 All-District 16-5A Second Team and academic all-district for three years
• Coached by George Hermann as a sophomore, Howard McMahan as a junior and Jason Cecil as a senior
• Recruited by Oregon State, UTEP, North Texas and Nevada.
