Despite season-ending injury, finished as BYU's fourth-leading tackler on the season and tied for the lead in interceptions with 57 stops (33 solo), two tackles-for-loss, a sack, quarterback hurry, forced fumble, pass breakup and three interceptions with 67 return yards including two for touchdowns

In 2019, played in all 13 games, including starts against Boise State and Utah State. Recorded 48 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and one interception. Three-time player of the week (Special Teams – USC, Liberty, defense – Washington)
