BYU Highlights
An offensive lineman from 2018-2022, LaChance appeared in 45 games for the Cougars with 17 career starts. Starting 12 games in 2022, LaChance helped the BYU offense tie for 10th nationally in sacks allowed (13) and rank 36th in the country in yards per game (426.0).

- Major: History, graduated in April 2022
- Missionary Service: Served a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Nashville, Tennessee (2015-17)
- First in his immediate and extended family to serve a mission and graduate with a college degree.

- Parents are Mindy McDermaid and Larry LaChance
- Has two siblings
- Married to Grace since 2020. Their son, Harvey, was born in February 2022
- Plays the electric guitar and enjoys longboarding
Before BYU
- Prepped at Herriman High School
- Named all-region and all-state in 2014
- Helped Herriman to region titles in 2013 and 2014
- Played on both the offensive and defensive lines at Herriman High School
- Posted 60 tackles, five tackles for loss and four sacks in 2014
- 2014 Deseret News All-State honorable mention
- Also played basketball and rugby in high school, lettering in both in addition to lettering in football
- Attended the All-Poly Camp
- Coached by Dustin Pearce
- Also recruited by TCU, Wisconsin, Utah, Utah State and Washington
