- Eastern Michigan/Butler Community College transfer
- Rated a three-star transfer portal recruit (247sports) to BYU in 2023
- Played for Eastern Michigan in 2022 and from 2020-21 at Butler Community College
- While appearing in all 13 games for Eastern Michigan last year, he caught 40 passes for 471 yards and four touchdowns to help the Eagles to a 9-4 season
- At Butler, Lassiter appeared in 17 games with 51 receptions, 913 yards and 13 touchdowns
- In 2021, he averaged 19.1 yards per catch and 70.7 yards per game, earning him First Team All-Conference and NJCAA All-American Team honorable mention
