- Son of Darlene Kaufusi and stepson of former Utah football player Henry Kaufusi (1994-95)
- Has four brothers and six sisters
- Graduated from Utah in 2022 with two degrees: Bachelor of science degree in Family community and Human Development as well as Sociology
- During time at University of Utah, part of the "OBLOCK CARES" community service organization, working closely with Utah foster care and the Utah Humane Society
- Loves to take naps

- Has played in 29 games at Utah with 17 starts on the offensive line (center and guard)
- Started 12 games at center in 2022 for the Utes
- Helped the Utes to 217.6 rushing yards per game, which ranked 11th in the FBS and second in the Pac-12.
- Part of the offensive line that only allowed 1.07 sacks per game.
- Saw action in five games in 2021, starting in four
- Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll in 2021
- Played in two games in 2020, seeing action at center against USC and Washington State and earned a spot on the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll
