- Helped South Summit High School to back-to-back 2A state championships in 2017 and 2018
- Part of a South Summit team that went 33-3 during his three years as a varsity player
- Totaled 76 tackles and 13.0 tackles for loss as a senior
- Returned an interception 65 yards for a score and returned a fumble 30 yards for another in 2018
- As a junior had 50 solo tackles and four sacks on defense
- Also played basketball
