- Played his freshman season at Chipola College in Marianna, Florida
- Averaged 13.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.8 steals while shooting 56.0 percent from the field and 43.9 percent from the 3-point line
- Posted season highs of 25 points, eight rebounds, 10 assists and four steals.
- Earned All-Panhandle Conference First Team honors and Panhandle Conference Freshman of the Year.
- Helped lead the Indians to a 22-8 record
- Redshirted at Fordham before playing at Chipola
- Prepped at Gulfport High School in Gulfport, Mississippi, where he played for Owen Miller for three seasons
- As a junior, Hardnett averaged 22.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 steals while leading Gulfport to the Mississippi Class 6A state title
- Was named to the Sun Herald’s All-South Mississippi Team and to the Clairon-Ledger’s Dandy Dozen
- As a senior, played at Arlington Day School in Jacksonville, Florida, where he averaged 13 points and five rebounds
