- Competed at 2014 NCAA Men's Swim & Dive Championships in Austin, Texas, reaching the preliminary rounds of 200 and 400 IM competition

- Eight-time All-MPSF honoree
Before BYU
- Prepped at Canyon Springs High School in Moreno Valley, California
- Three-time CIF individual champion, winning the 200 IM in 2008 and 2009 along with the 500 free in 2009
- Competed in club swimming for Riverside Aquatics Association under head coach Rodney Pilman
- 2009 Riverside Aquatics Association Swimmer of the Year
- Competed at the 2008 North American Challenge Cup in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
