- Team won a California state championship his senior year, he was the leading receiver in the playoffs

- Nationally ranked as a TE by Scout (54), 247Sports (47) and Rivals (61)
- Ranked a top-100 recruit in the state of California
- Selected to play in the Polynesian Bowl in Hawaii his senior year
- A two-time All-South Coast League and All-CIF performer at both linebacker (2015) as a junior and tight end (2016) as a senior
- Played alongside Utah starting TE Cole Fotheringham as a junior
- Named Athlete of the Year at San Clemente High School
- Was also recruited to play basketball, lettering twice as a first-team All-South Coast shooting guard as a senior for coach Mark Popovich
