Career Summary
Scott Arellano transferred to BYU as a first-team all-conference punter from Foothill College. He played in all 26 games of his career at BYU and tallied 37 punts of 50 yards or more to go along with 55 landing inside the 20. As a senior, Arellano set a BYU record for longest punt with an 81-yarder against Middle Tennessee. He also held two of the three longest punts in the FBS in 2014 and helped BYU to a No. 10 national ranking for net punting. Arellano received more than 10 player of the week honors during his career as well as nominations to several All-Independent teams and was a Ray Guy Award semifinalist in 2014.
