Before BYU
- Graduated from Collège Beaubois and from Collège Gérald-Godin in Quebec
- Attended HEC in Montreal
- Trained at Club de gymnastique Laval Excellence
- Competed at the senior open level
- Team captain for the 2003 Canada Games, where she placed second on floor and sixth on bars while the team placed second overall
- Scored first as a team, first on beam, first on vault, second all-around at the 2003 Canadian National Championships
- Finished 16th on vault in the elite category at the 2001 Canadian Gymnastics Championships
- Took 8th on floor and 11th in the all-around at the 2000 Elite Canada
- Placed fourth in the all-around, third on the floor, sixth on the beam and second as a team in the 2000 Canadian Gymnastics Championship
