- Mother, Edy, was a Track and Field athlete at Southern Utah
- Grandfather, Roe Smith, played Basketball and was on the Track and Field team at BYU and Southern Utah
- Youngest of six kids
- Can surf
- Used to have two different colored eybrows

- Swam with the Coast Aquatics Club
- Also recruited by Liberty, Richmond, Flordia State, Pitt, Arkansas, Washington and Tulane
- Viking scholar in Junior year
- Girls school winner of All Sports Association Award
