- Averaged 24.0 ppg his senior season, 16.7 overall
- Named All-America by Look and Converse his senior season
- Named to the Academic All-WAC team during his three varsity seasons
- Also named Scholastic All-American and received an NCAA scholarship award for postgraduate work
- Also was an All-Conference baseball player at BYU
Before BYU
- Prepped at West High School in Salt Lake City
- Named to the All-State basketball team
- Won the Hale Award as the outstanding high school athlete
- Also played shortstop on the baseball team
After BYU
- Played professional basketball with the Utah Stars of the ABA, winning the ABA Championship in 1971.

- Inducted into the BYU Hall of Fame in 1977
