- Nashif was honorable mention All-USA by USA Today as a senior at Evergreen High School in Vancouver, Wash.
- Lettered three times in basketball (sophomore-senior), twice in football (junior-senior) and once in tennis (senior)
- Named to the first-team all-state tournament team in 1999 while leading all players in assists at the state tournament
- Second-team all-state tournament as a junior
- Selected KVAW radio Athlete of the Year and Columbian (Vancouver, Wash.) Player of the Year
