• Married to BYU defensive lineman Bruce Mitchell
• Parents are Cade and Amber Sargent
• Has three siblings (Boston, Isabell and Thea)
• Major: Psychology

• Played basketball in high school as well

Before BYU

• Three-time UHSAA 2A state champion in the 1600m and 3200m 
• Two-time UHSAA 2A state champion in the 800m 
• Broke the 2A state record in the 3200m and the 800m
