After BYU
In December 2021, Taysom Hill inked a four-year contract with New Orleans that could range anywhere from $22.5 million to $95 million. The contract will offer him a base salary of $40 million with $21.5 million
guaranteed. He can make $55 million more if he becomes the starter under center for the Saints. Claimed off of waivers from Green Bay at the conclusion of the 2017 preseason by the Saints, Hill has provided value to New Orleans in multiple spots on both offense and special teams over the past seven seasons. In 2023, Hill continued to excel in a hybrid role, taking snaps at quarterback, tight end and wide receiver positions as well as being a contributor on special teams. Starting seven of 16 contests he appeared in, Hill rushed 81 times for 401 yards and four touchdowns, had a career-best 33 receptions for 291 yards and three touchdowns, and completed 6-of-11 passes for 83 yards and one touchdown, while adding two special teams stops.
