Before BYU
(EASTERN OKLAHOMA STATE COLLEGE):
- Lemes earned first-team NJCAA All-Region 2 honors in 2001-02
- Led the Mountaineers to back-to-back Region 2 Tournament runner-up finishes with records of 23-8 and 25-7 in his two seasons
- As a freshman averaged nine points playing primarily the point
- Played exclusively the wing as a sophomore because of his great shooting ability
- Made 66 threes (2.1 per game) in 2001-02
- Shot 46.9 percent from the floor, 40 percent on threes, 76 percent from the free throw line
- Was the team's second-leading scorer at 15.1 points per game
- Led the team in steals (2.2) and was second in assists (3.6) while adding 2.9 rebounds per contest
