Before BYU
- Prepped at Crescenta Valley High School where she lettered four years in track, three years in cross country
- Took ninth and 11th in state for the 1600M and 3200M
- Ran at the Nike Team Nationals
- Relay team was nationally ranked
- Cross country team was top 10 in California for three years, two of which were top five finishes
- Placed fifth at state in 2007 in an individual performance
- Earned All-CIF honors for three years
- Scholar Athlete all four years
