• No. 8 all-time at BYU in the 3000m steeplechase as she clocked a 9:55.03 at the 2026 Stanford Invitational
• Placed sixth in the 3000m steeplechase at the 2025 Big 12 outdoor championships

• Parents are Shawn and Mindy Peterson
• Loves horseback riding
• Has a phobia of fish but loves to eat them
• Four sport varsity athlete in high school
• Father, Shawn played baseball at Dixie State
• Fluent in Spanish
• Also recruited by Utah State, UVU, Weber State and Utah

• National champion in the steeplechase in 2023
• All-American in the steeplechase placing fourth at nationals in 2022
• 4x400m and 4x800m state champion in 2022
• Cross country individual state champion (2021)
• UHSAA 2021 5A track and field team state champions
• Hope of America Award
• Timpanogos High School scholar athlete in 2023
• Spirit of Excellence award (2023)
• High Honor Roll throughout all of high school
• All-academic for every season of cross country and track and field
