- Finished third in the 5,000m at NCAA Indoor National Championships, earning an All-America citation in track
- Named all-conference and all-region in both track and cross country at South Dakota State
- Ranked first in the nation (Division II) for the 5,000m for the 2001 outdoor track season before suffering a stress fracture and missing nationals
- Ranked third in the nation in the 10,000m before missing nationals due to a stress fracture
- Won 2000 North Central Conference title for the indoor 5,000m race
- Won maroon race at the 1999 Roy Griak Invitational, competing against other Division II and Division III schools
