Before BYU
- Prepped at Farmington High School
- New Mexico State Champion in the high jump, 100-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles, 4x200-meter relay and 4x400-meter relay
- Team won schools first state title in track
- Was not only her team MVP, but a 4A MVP as well
- Basketball took 2nd at the State Championships her senior season
- Earned 1st team all-academic for basketball and track
